Marty Nordeen, CPA
— Controller  Marty is responsible for management and leadership of Aztec's back-office and administrative operations which include finance & accounting, human resources, and facilities.Prior to joining Aztec, Marty began his career with EDS's Community Banking Division as a financial analyst providing support to many of the departments over the three years. This division was spun off from EDS during Marty's last year with EDS. After EDS, Marty was hired as controller for Texas Screen Supply Company to help facilitate operating consolidations of three operating companies into one. Shortly after consolidation, a local CPA firm, Martin W. Cohen & Co, Inc. hired Marty to be their internal controller to bring better controls internally while upgrading internal infrastructure for three jointly owned companies. Marty left the CPA firm for an opportunity as Compliance and Reporting Manager with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. At ACS, Marty was responsible for internal compliance of the Shared Services department, where he was instrumental in bringing operational efficiency and reporting to Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Travel departments. In addition, he helped implement ACS' Supplier Diversity system. Marty has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Controls from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
